Progress shots for today, I successfully uploaded Rune to Meshmixer. Patched her up and toggled around Maya and Mudbox.
Some notes for Meshmixer:
F key to fill in the cracks and S for shortcut key to Select. X key is shortcut for deleting surfaces.
Notes on Maya: Under Mesh, Cleanup, Went in order to clean-up the Mesh. Surprisingly, no error is mesh. However, Mudbox was having trouble with the mesh (could be a 3D scanner issue only).
A lot of good progress work, but I was struggling with defining the pointy spikes. I can't seem to make them any pointer if that makes sense? Also, one of Rune's ear is pointy while the other is more well rounded. Could be from retopoligizing the model, but it bothers me how it's not symmetrical. I tried flattening it and sculpting it, but no success in that area. I'll just leave it be at this point.
