Class was spent learning about character design and what it takes to create a character. The 3 rules of design being shapes, exaggeration and simplification.

All talk about messing around with shapes, figuring out the characters traits/personalities before designing, and etc. They talk about doing research things that might need to be researched for the characters overall design or background info. Also speaks of keeping it a clean and simple design to make them more memorable and not over board. My favorite character to use as an example:
