Character Make-over

 

For the revision, I made the character a bit larger and exaggerated his stomach more. His legs are kept small and tubby for contrast. I think the pear shape fitted this character better than making him completely round. I've also kept traits from the original piece, such as the two stranded hairs on the head, his beard, and his beer mug. I've also added some hair to his arms to mimic his head and added a belly button for details. It's to help the viewers to focus on the stomach. I had to change to his outfit to make it a bit more interesting to look at. His ripped sleeves contrast with his round body. It also makes him look cooler. The beard was a bit tricky, I wanted it to be recognizable. The only thing I changed was adding more volume to it. The belt was added to ground his pants and to stabilize his bottom half. I hope these changes were helpful for the artist.
